As a volunteer coach, you will work with youths ages 5-13, all from low-income communities, in East Harlem, Manhattan.
The coaching position goes over a 12-week season, and requires at least a 2 hour commitment each Wednesday or Thursday.
As many athletic and physical educations programs are being dropped from school budgets, it's harder and harder for kids to stay physically active. Volunteering your time as a coach will help these youths get moving and have fun!
Requirements In order to be a coach, you must:
- Be able to commit your time to a season. (Summer, Fall, Spring, Winter)
- Have experience as a soccer coach
- Know CPR
